Step 2: Final entry form


Checklist before submitting your final entry:

  • You have already filled out the pre-entry form and received an email from the Awards Team confirming your eligibility.
  • Complete the final entry form in English.
  • Be concise and straight to the point!
  • Include the supporting materials (photos, maps, plans) in one pdf file and upload it.

Entry process

Please note that your entry doesn't need to be completed in one stage.
You can start it, save it and complete it later.
To do so, don't forget to register (it takes a few seconds only!).

Moreover, you can start several entries at the same time, and submit them all together one finalised.

Entry fee: 950€ per entry
If you submit one same project in 2 categories, it is considered as 2 entries.

BEST CULTURAL & SPORTS INFRASTRUCTURE

Brand new this year, this category honours buildings, structures and places where culture, arts and sports are performed, experienced and showcased, such as museums, theatres, libraries, music venues, historic cultural sites and stadiums, all aiming to support the quality of life of a city or a neighbourhood, create a vibrant community and an appealing place to live.

Completed in 2018-2019.

BEST HEALTHCARE DEVELOPMENT

This category recognises any healthcare facility (hospital, clinic, nursing home, medical laboratory, etc.) that succeeds in creating an environment delivering high-quality patient care, by solving concerns a medical facility may have: aesthetic, urban, functional and sustainability.

BEST HOTEL & TOURISM RESORT

This award honours the most innovative newly-constructed hotel in terms of architecture and interior design, while also considering client well-being, services provided to guests, leisure and recreational facilities and environmental aspects.

BEST INDUSTRIAL & LOGISTICS DEVELOPMENT

This category recognizes industrial distribution centres that integrate modern and innovative logistic facilities, maintenance, efficient work planning and implementation.

BEST MIXED-USE DEVELOPMENT

Launched last year, this category recognises single buildings or groups of buildings that blend at least two different uses (residential, commercial, cultural, infrastructure...) and are physically and functionally integrated.

BEST OFFICE & BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

This category rewards office buildings and business parks that offer owners and users increased worker satisfaction and productivity, improved health, greater flexibility and enhanced energy and environmental performance of the workplace. Through an integrated design, the focus must be on the ability to accommodate the specific space and equipment needs of the tenant.

BEST REFURBISHED BUILDING

This category focuses on how a building can have a second life through an important refurbishment, enlargement or transformation in order to meet new standards and new needs. Projects of any type (office, hotel, residential, retail, etc.) are welcome here.

BEST RESIDENTIAL DEVELOPMENT

This category celebrates new developments that provide the best housing opportunities, while adopting originality and aesthetics. An integrated urban design, as well as a smart-site planning, is important for the residential project to merge well with the wider community and surrounding neighbourhood.

BEST SHOPPING CENTRE

This category rewards the new shopping centre, retail park or factory outlet which succeeds in encouraging and retaining traffic, while offering a unique shopper experience through new technologies, services, customer loyalty programmes and architectural features that aim to increase footfall and customer satisfaction.

BEST URBAN PROJECT

By 2050, the world will have 9.7 billion inhabitants, of whom 70% will live in urban areas, according to the United Nations. This freshly-updated category will honour any type of urban project: urban regeneration, new urban developments, transitory urbanism, etc. Permanent or temporary, the creation, use and/or renewal of an unoccupied land, vacant site, empty building, existing area, town or city are key to offer better livelihoods, improve social inclusion, increase economic growth and inventing the city of tomorrow where human is in the centre.

Project or at least one phase completed in 2018-2019.

BEST FUTURA PROJECT

This category is dedicated to any type of building or development, slated to start construction or already started but not completed yet. The project must be innovative in terms of architecture and sustainability, and well integrated l in its environment and community. 

Total surface area < 150,000 sqm, construction starting in 2018-2020 with a planning approval

BEST FUTURA MEGA PROJECT

This category is dedicated to any type of building or development, slated to start construction or already started but not completed yet. The project must be innovative in terms of architecture and sustainability, and well integrated in its environment and community.
